1964 born in Leipzig, Germany
1970 - 1980 primary and secondary school
1980 - 1983 technical training as physics laboratory assistant
1984 - 1988 on-the-job training and staffer in the pottery's Reiter as ceramicist seit
1990 freelance in the fields of pictorial arts, graphics and pottery
2001 - 2002 further training as framer for crafts on Academy in Ebern ("Gestalter im Handwerk" an der Akademie für Gestaltung) 

married, three kids, live with family in Adelsdorf (nearby Nuremberg/ Bavaria)
